It may be strange and hurtful to see the person you love, loves someone else but do not lose hope because the One in whose hands is our soul knows what is better for us. As He says, "…and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know." (2:216)
Love; what is love in which there are no blessings of the Almighty? It winds up as a punishment, a disease, death of the heart and a wretched life. Yes, the truth may hurt you now but it's still better than the harm that is about to come. We are responsible for our own destruction. Sub han Allah! If only did we know how much love and mercy He has for us; our hearts would've melted. No love on earth can ever be greater than His love for us; little do we know.
