||| VuHelp4U ||| The 7 Covenants of Allah

Allah تعالى has made 7 promises in return for 5 actions and they are:

1. Increase (in blessings) in return for being grateful (al-Shukr):

{لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ}

{If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favours and blessings]} [Surah Ibraheem (14):7]

2. His praise for His slaves in return for the slaves making a mention their Lord:

{فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ}

{Therefore remember Me (by praying, glorifying, etc.). I will remember you} [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 152]

3. Confirmed acceptance of the Du`aa when they call Him:

{ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ}

{Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer)} [Surah Ghaafir (40):60]

4. Will not punish them as long as the slaves are engaged in doing Istighfaar:

{وَمَا كَانَ اللَّـهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ}

{Nor will He punish them while they seek (Allah's) Forgiveness.} [Surah al-Anfaal (8): 33]

5. Provide them authority on earth, and confirmed sustenance and continuous safety in return for worshiping Him alone:

{وَعَدَ اللَّـهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ}

{Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).} [Surah al-Noor (24): 55]
