Many people have lost their closest friends after trying to help them by lending them money.
Lending money to a friend is one of the most common ways of ultimate termination of that friendship.
Although some do pay back, many do not do so or are unable to pay back loans to their friends, causing a major dispute.
It is better to give a non returnable gift or to render charitable assistance than risk the friendship by the disputes that follow most loans to friends.
A wise man said, "If you lend money to a friend, make sure your heart is big enough to write it off when it clashes with the friendship."
